About My Blog

Jane: Kihei is a resort area located along the beautiful south Maui coastline. It's hot and sunny most of the time and it's a challenging area to grow a garden. I started this blog in 2009 to share my experiences and recommendations as there was too little information available locally. My focus has been on growing open pollinated and heirloom seeds - what I've learned is linked in the "Growing Tips" column just below. My contact email is kitchengardenmaui@gmail.com
